Lost in words [22 May 2006|01:26pm]

Hey you guys:

I know someone has probably asked this question about a million times, but I think it is worth asking again. (And I'm new to this group, so I would never have seen the answer had it been asked before:) And here it is . . . the big question:

What does Bob whisper to Charlotte at the end of Lost in Translation? That is one of my favourite movies ever (especially since I have an electra complex a mile wide) and it has been driving me crazy for almost two years. My personal opinion is that he says something along the lines of: "Find me in America". But that may just be wishful thinking on my part. Any guesses?

Hey guys! I'm new here, but I have loved Focus Features for a very long time. I just find the movies it produces to be so influential.
I have seen: (reading off the official website vault)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (my favorite of all of them)
Lost in Translation
21 Grams
The Shape of Things
The Pianist
Monsoon Wedding
Rear Window

I want to see Wet Hot American Summer, very very soon.
Glad to be here!

Hey guys! I'm new here, but my loves for the films released by Focus isn't.

Easily my favorite Focus film is Eternal Sunshine for obvious reasons, and Lost in Translation is a close second. But I've seen most of the films except for Ned Kelly and Sylvia.

My question is this: do any of you guys know what's going on with that movie Winter Passing with Ed Harris, Zooey Deschanel, and Will Ferrell? There was a preview for it on the Eternal Sunshine DVD, which came out back in September, but haven't heard anything about it since then, not even on the new Focus DVDs.

I heart Focus Features. A lot. So far, I've seen:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (which I'm about to watch after I post this :D)
The Door in the Floor
21 Grams
Swimming Pool
Gosford Park
The Man Who Wasn't There
Session 9
Traffic
Pitch Black
Lost in Translation

Of those, I didn't care too much for The Door in the Floor and Pitch Black, and thought Gosford Park was the most over-rated snore-fest this side of my student project for my video productions class of my sophmore year. But in any case, I applaud FF for putting out projects that are consistently creative. Focus Features is the gweatest. And so is this community. Bye.

Herro!

I joined this community because of all the great films that came forth from focus feautures!

FF films I have seen:

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
Lost in Translation
21 Grams
The Pianist
Far From Heaven
8 Women/Huit Femme
Traffic
Being John Malkovich

Favorite FF films:

21 Grams (!!!)
Lost in Translation
Huit Femme

But all I have seen so far were absolutely devine...

I can't wait to see the Motorcycle diaries and Vanity Fair.
Being it a complete and utter coincidence that it happens to be that Gael Garcia Bernal and Jonathan Rhys Meyers play in these films... *innocent face*

Any way, hi fellow magic-film-lovers!

I just joined.

I love focus features.

My favorite focus feature would have to be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

But I have seen...

Lost in Translation.

sadly, i think that's it. I want to see Sylvia, Swimming Pool and others that i can't think of right now.

i love how wonderfully confusing these movies are. so thrilling.
